Meet Evan Ferlic: SEOPS’ New Business Development Director

We are pleased to announce that Evan Ferlic has joined SEOPS as our new Business Development Director.  Evan brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the space industry to our team.

Evan joins us from SpaceX, where he was a key member of the launch sales team. During his tenure there, he focused on commercial launch sales, navigating the complexities of international markets and helping a diverse range of customers—from universities to national telecommunications companies—achieve their goals in space. 

In discussing his move to SEOPS, Evan says, “SEOPS is a power player in space, and is in a unique position in the new space market. The fact that SEOPS is investing in dedicated payload processing facilities on both coasts – that’s going to be huge as well in the future as the industry continues to grow. I think there’s a massive opportunity in providing access to space, for large and small entities,  and I want to support and be a part of that.”

Evan also shared his insights on the evolving landscape of the industry and the pressing need for reliable access to orbit: “We’ve seen an explosion in growth, exponential investment going into the industry where everybody wants to have a small part of space and that’s just really clogging up the supply of launch. I think the challenge is again just launch constraints, and we’re going to have to start looking in diverse areas of launch to fulfill exponential demands.”

With his extensive background in international launch sales and his forward-thinking approach to addressing industry challenges, Evan is a fantastic addition to the SEOPS family.
