Evan Hoyt Named SEOPS President to Support Next Phase of Growth

SEOPS today announced the appointment of Evan Hoyt as President, a leadership addition that reflects the company’s continued expansion across the space access ecosystem and its commitment to scaling operations, partnerships, and commercial offerings to meet growing market demand. 

Since its founding, SEOPS has operated on a simple belief: access to space should be more flexible, more responsive, and more closely aligned with customer mission needs. Over the past several years, the company has steadily expanded its role within the space industry, evolving from launch brokerage and mission management into launch procurement, dedicated capacity ownership, and the development of new commercial access models, including the recently introduced Waymaker platform.

As SEOPS continues to broaden its presence across the space access value chain, the company is evolving its leadership structure to support its next stage of growth.

The appointment comes as SEOPS expands beyond traditional launch services and continues building a broader portfolio of space access solutions. With new initiatives such as Waymaker, growing government and commercial partnerships, and increasing involvement across multiple layers of the mission lifecycle, the company is strengthening its leadership structure to ensure strategic alignment and coordinated execution across its expanding business.

In his new role as President, Hoyt–who served as the company’s Executive Vice President for the last several years–will focus on aligning SEOPS’ commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives while helping integrate the growing portfolio of products, services, and partnerships that support customer missions from concept to orbit. Hoyt will work closely with Brinkley and the executive leadership team to coordinate the company’s expanding activities across launch services, mission integration, strategic partnerships, and emerging access solutions.
