Upper Stage Solution
The OctoBus is built from flight heritage and Intellectual Property of the SEOPS Octobucket and NSL’s on-orbit 24/7 connected flight systems. OctoBus will also include the hosted Train Rapid on Orbit Payload (TROOP) missions. The cost-effective, TRL-9 platform and flight subsystems bring new, but proven capabilities to the space community.
Additionally, we have a dedicated launch integration and Rideshare services team that is launch vehicle agnostic.
OctoBus incorporates the NSL’s TROOP platform that has flown as a hosted payload on three (3x) previous Orbital Transfer Vehicle (OTV) missions including SpaceX Transporter and Astra platforms. The on-orbit success of TROOP and OctoBucket missions combined with many zero delta-v customer deploy- ments on rideshare missions, offers customers a responsive, reliable and cost effective platform .

Slingshot is designed for payload hosting and the deployment of cubeSats at altitudes above the station using the infrastructure offered by the International Space Station in partnership with the U.S. National Laboratory and Northrop Grumman, and more recently with SpaceX’s Rideshare program.

GHOST TRAP
This system is the product of an engineering team with more than 100 years combined experience that has successfully deployed a multitude of payloads with SEOPS hardware.
Ghost Trap improves upon Slingshot, one of our legacy deployment systems that has been in operation the ISS, deploying multiple payloads. The deployer was originally created to slide into a small narrow hatch on the Cygnus resupply capsule for the ISS, but we’re happy to bring the benefit of this proven design to the wider market. The narrow configuration required the opening to be on the longer side, similar to a breadbox. However, it ended up having a greater benefit in producing stellar vibe test results.
